Our national enforcement team is led by Mrs Claire Sandbrook in her role as an authorised High Court Enforcement Officer.
Mrs Sandbrook spearheaded the development of health and safety training and protocols in the 1990’s as Sheriffs were called upon to take back possession of land from a variety of protest groups.
This timeline sets out some of the most notable eviction projects undertaken by Shergroup in its modern-day development of its enforcement capabilities. Writs of Possession are issued in Mrs Sandbrook’s name and enable her and her team to enforce High Court Orders for Possession, along with Compulsory Purchase Orders. The power to do so comes directly from statutory powers granted by the High Court Enforcement Officer Regulations 2004.
Under those powers Mrs Sandbrook can call on the support of the police to assist her and the enforcement agents operating in her name.
This timeline is a step through some of the most intense eviction projects handed to Shergroup for enforcement. They demonstrate the planning and execution of the Writ of Possession/Compulsory Purchase Order which underpins Shergroup’s consistent and safe operational capability.
