Our Leadership Team

More Than Two
Hundred Years, Given
to One Business

Meet the seven people who lead Shergroup.

Most enforcement firms introduce you to people who joined last year. We are going to introduce you to people who have been here for decades.

Jackie Morgan has been connected to the Sheriffs in London for forty-two years. June Marenghi, Sue Loustalan and Raz Dadabhoy all go back to the Sheriffs Lodgment Centre in 1999. Sandip Saluza joined in 2005 and Shirish Kulshrestha in 2015. Claire Sandbrook started at the London Sheriff’s Office in 1980 and took 100% ownership of the Shergroup brand in 2007. Between the seven of them that is over 200 years given to one business.

It means the person who handled your matter five years ago is very likely still here to handle the next one. In a sector where people move on every couple of years, that is the difference clients notice first.

The regulated authority

Every writ Shergroup executes is executed under the authority of an Authorised High Court Enforcement Officer. Every piece of legal work goes through an SRA-regulated practice. Claire Sandbrook holds both roles.

Claire Sandbrook

Authorised High Court Enforcement Officer · Solicitor · Chief Executive

Sweet & Maxwell asked Claire to write the book on enforcement, and she has written three editions of it. She was the first woman appointed Under Sheriff of Surrey, has chaired the High Court Enforcement Officers Association and served as Vice-Chair of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management.

The People Who Lead Shergroup

June Marenghi

Chief of Staff

June holds the things that keep a business upright — confidential matters, the welfare of the team, and the detail nobody else is tracking. She has done this since 1999, when she joined Claire to help set up the Sheriffs Lodgment Centre. She is a liaison expert with the High Court and all the county courts, making sure every instruction entrusted to Shergroup is managed within the confines of a court system that can be complex and difficult to navigate. She is relentless in her pursuit of the judgment, order, certificate or writ that needs to come back to us so the legal or enforcement process can continue. Along with Claire and Sue she is part of the editorial team for our TV project, Call The Bailiffs.

Sandip Saluza

Sandip Saluza

Chief Operations Officer

Sandip is accountable for every aspect of Shergroup operations – High Court enforcement, legal, cashflow, security, marketing and IT. He began in the Collections Team in 2005 and now has over twenty years of experience of how this business runs. When the CEO sets the strategic vision for the group, Sandip is the person who builds the operation that turns it into action.

Raziya Dadabhoy

Head of Business Solutions
Raz leads the advisor team of Business Solutions Consultants. She is the person a client talks to when they are working out which of our services actually fits the problem in front of them. An original Sheriffs Lodgment person, with over twenty-seven years of transferring writs and watching High Court enforcement evolve into the service it is today, Raz has built the operational knowledge that makes her the expert she is.

Shirish Kulshrestha

Assistant Manager, Operations

Shirish works from our offshore operation in India. Operations is the part of a business nobody sees and everybody depends on – cases set up properly, paperwork right the first time, and instructions moving without anyone having to chase them. Shirish has been part of making that happen every day since 2015.

Sue Loustalan

Sue Loustalan

Group Complaints Officer

Sue joined Burchell & Ruston, trading then as the Sheriffs Lodgment Centre, in 1999, and has been part of Shergroup since the day it was formed. She is responsible for how we handle complaints – and for the grumbles too, the things that never quite become a complaint but tell you something is not right. If we have got something wrong, Sue is the one who wants to hear it, and who will help sort it out. She also sits on the editorial team for Call The Bailiffs, making sure the content is compliant before it is aired.

Jackie Morgan

Jackie Morgan

Business Solutions Advisor

Jackie has been connected to the Sheriffs in London for forty-two years. Like Claire she has worked in almost every part of this business, and that experience is what lets her manage a portfolio of clients across the full range of Shergroup solutions today. She has true Shergroup sparkle, and she has helped hundreds of clients resolve outstanding debts and possession claims.

How we handle complaints

When Something Needs Attention, Sue is the Person to Speak

A real person accountable for complaints is a serious trust signal in a sector with a reputation problem — and it is something regulated buyers ask about before they instruct. Sue Loustalan has held that responsibility since 1999. If something is not right — a complaint, or just a grumble — she is the one who will help put it right.
