Shergroup has come up with a new season of Shergroup on the Sofa. This series is a compilation of Facebook Live videos, conducted by our Chief Shergroupie Claire Sandbrook. Claire leads the conversation around how all these professionals can help people in business with an optimistic and feet-on-the-ground approach.
This week Claire interviews one of her BNI Florida colleagues – Margo Slaby – in her role as a Financial Health Advisor with Regions Bank based out of Hamlin, Winter Garden FL 34787. What we love about Margo is her enthusiasm for all things BNI and for helping her customers build their business with the bank’s support. She is a poster person for how banks can really make a difference in their communities with a CAN DO attitude – whilst nicely giving a reality check on what’s possible. Margo also touches on what new customers need to open a bank account and start building their credit score. A super BNI Ambassador with a great attitude to finance!
You will watch Claire compliment, Margo, that she’s a little unusual from how banking people are, Margo is enthusiastic, and cheerful about her industry, her job and about everything she does. As Financial Health Advisor Margo deals with the mass customers for Regions bank, understands where people are coming from and what they want to do with their money and helps them with the best advice. She started as a part-time teller and in seven years’ time Margo has grown into this super confident Financial Health Advisor, you will watch her say that the very reason behind this is that she loves talking to people and talking about money which is an interesting subject in itself.

On being asked how she helps business clients identify their financial goals and help them reach them Margo says that we have a 121 session with the client and we ask them questions that are related to their cash flow, payments, payroll system, the time between money coming in and out, what is your emergency plan, and once we get the answers to all these questions we help the clients with solutions that Regions can offer. Margo says whether it is personal or business clients her role is to be a financial cheerleader and help you keep up with the financial highs and the lows.
