As a business owner, have you ever said to yourself – “I need an assistant who can take some of this stuff off my desk!”, and then decided no one can do your work so you give up? Well our CEO, Claire Sandbrook, was in the same place, but in 2021 with the build of our website on the rise and the need to manage all the working parts of Shergroup, she went out to search for a VA. And in her travels she came across a course run by today’s guest, Jen Lehner, where she taught business owners how to prepare and recruit a VA with all the skills needed for the role. And what was even better was that her training extended to train the business owner on how to manage a VA day to day with up-to-skills.

So, Claire is delighted to introduce Jen Lehner as a hero in her eyes to business owners and VAs everywhere. And here she is talking to Claire in this super interview. You will hear Jen explain how her program works, and how she built her business to help business owners just like you. Jen herself is a senior marketing expert, and one of Claire’s favorite “gurus” when it comes to all things digital. She has over a decade of experience in the area of building digital content and using VA’s to help her keep up! She has developed workshops and online courses that can help companies grow their leads, sales, and audience as well as find just the right virtual assistant for each unique business. Claire is one of her followers who has taken Jen’s program and advice personally, working with her own virtual assistant for more than a year now.

AJ is now very much part of Claire’s TEAM and she is now working on recruiting VA #2 as part of Shergroup’s own expansion. So tune into this sunny and informative episode as Claire dives in deep with Jen on the importance of having a VA onboard and all elements involved in finding just the best fit for any company’s needs. You know how essential it is for you as a business owner to find someone who understands YOUR goals and values. You almost want that person to be able to get under your business skin to be able to do the tasks you need to offload to your VA.

This interview should get Jen Lehner on your radar. She is very approachable, and has a simple format – which indeed was the inspiration for “Shergroup on the Sofa”. Today AJ sets up the process, invites the guest, sets the date, organizes the interview questions, creates the zoom link, and once the interview is done, takes the recording and writes the Show Notes and organizes to get it published as part of our marketing team! And you can do the same thing!!!! So, we are delighted that Jen’s training program is now one of our affiliate products. Claire has trained herself and now her VA is going through the same program.
