Shergroup wins major customer service award

The company, which has its headquarters in Braintree and employs around 100 staff, beat off stiff competition to win the customer care and service category at this year’s prestigious Essex Business Excellence Awards.

Chief Executive Claire Sandbrook said: “Customer service is at the heart of everything we do at Shergroup. We always put our customers first and provide innovative services which deliver real results.

“To have won this award is recognition of all that we have achieved, especially in this tough economic climate, and is a real tribute to the dedication of our staff.”

The company is also celebrating after learning that one of its staff has been nominated as Legal Executive of the Year in this year?s Law Society Excellence Awards. Sharon Housden has been working for Shergroup for the last four years and is one of just a handful of legal executives in England and Wales to have been shortlisted for the award. Winners will be announced on October 21.

Shergroup was also the winner of the Innovation award at last year’s Essex Business Excellence Awards.
