I contacted Shergroup on 02/01/2026, and I got paid on 24/03/2026. I couldn't be more grateful and finally feel like Justice has been served. After a traumatic experience of being a lodger in London in 2022 (Ladies, stay away from 44 Paveley Street; unfortunately, SpareRoom UK won't do anything to protect you), I had to take the landlord to Court to get my deposit back, after having vacated his property earlier due to his constant harassment and constant changing living conditions. This was a very painful, time-consuming and emotionally draining process that ended with a Court ruling in my favour in 2023, but nothing happened. The landlord didn't pay, and after wasting money with the Court's bailiffs, I started losing all hope. But, also, I was so disappointed in the Justice system. Earlier this year, I consulted with ChatGPT (Yes, it's useful), and Shergroup's name came as an option. I got in contact. I received a prompt response, and after having all my doubts and concerns cleared, I paid the fee and left everything in their hands, wishing for the best. They kept me informed throughout the process, and a few weeks ago, I received an email asking for my bank details to receive the remittance. I couldn't believe it... They did it. I finally got my money back, without having to stress about it, and so quickly. If I had known about them earlier, they would have been my first choice! Thank goodness for Shergroup. They are life savers. Such a traumatic event was handled with huge kindness, consideration and professional immediate support. Massive thank yous especially to Donna an angel and Scott who " leave it with me" both provided immediate fast support and professional guidance in a very stressful situation. I'm a private landlord who had the unfortunate horrendous task of having to remove an abusive, scary hugely knowledgeable, argumentative tenant who knew how to play the system to his advantage.and wouldn't take No for an answer. At the first eviction he called out demonstrators and the police to stop it, with a breathing space, This is after two years, 7 court hearings, one tribunal hearing to get to the order for possession and a high court bailiff eviction. With the law currently very much weighted against landlords, none of the process could go wrong or be misinterpreted to his advantage. The behaviour of the bailiffs was and needed to be exemplary. For the second eviction, two knowledgeable, well experienced enforcement agents went in to the property with the locksmith. The place was full of human urine, mice flies maggots biohazards and heaped high with stuff.They were careful to collect lots of photographic evidence, even thoughtfully showing me photos to reduce the shock of entering. After securing the property they talked through my options of keeping the now vacant property secure and didn't leave site or me alone until everything was arranged and in place.. They were mindful to advise a cost effective system in this case, screened windows 24/7 one man with dog security. When the tenant later appeared calling in the police of a jumped up charge of abusive behaviour accusations, Shergroup (Donna) answered a direct emergency phone line asap emailed swifty across eviction documents on site to the police and handled the situation. I am so grateful to Shergroup for their understanding and compassion and would highly recommend them.

Spoke with Donna about enforcing court order by instructing bailiff's to evict tenant - but it transpired I didn’t have the permission from the high court!!!! Donna could have easily made silly money from me to get the permission - but her honesty and transparency showed she had integrity. Donna advised me of the most cost effective way to get the permission and instruct bailiffs. That says enough about Donna and the company. I would highly recommend picking up the phone to these guys.
