Once a writ is issued, HCEOs can visit a debtor’s premises to recover the debt or take control of goods.
If full payment cannot be made, HCEOs can agree to a structured repayment plan directly with the debtor.
In cases where payment is not made voluntarily, the officer has the power to seize and sell assets to recover the amount owed.
