Welcome to Shergroup TV.
Shergroup has come up with a new season of Shergroup on the Sofa. This series is a compilation of Facebook Live videos, conducted by our Chief Shergroupie Claire Sandbrook. You will watch new guests every week on the sofa from different industries talking to Claire about how they started their business, their expertise, their ventures and how they are solving the problem of their community.
Claire leads the conversation around how all these professionals can help people in business with an optimistic and feet-on-the-ground approach. People often ask us about how we got involved in making TV shows about our work as High Court Enforcement professionals (aka Sheriffs). So today as Claire’s guest got detained, she decided to go solo on how the Channel 5 TV show “Call The Bailiffs” came to the screens and why she believes that TV and video are important as an education piece in the legal system.
As a Solicitor of 33 years, Claire has been involved with some of the most intense High Court enforcement operations but in this video content, she acknowledges the mentorship she received from Alastair Black, CBE, DL, and the support given to the High Court system by her team across Shergroup and our national panel of enforcement agents. Subscribe to our channels to hear Claire’s point of view on all things enforcement. To give you a background the Tv show journey started for us in 2020 when Claire our Chief Shergroupie received a call from the Award-Winning Producer, Andrew Eastel from Middlechild Productions. Andrew had heard about Claire and her achievements as an Authorised High Court Enforcement Officer, Ex-Chair of the High Court Enforcement Officers Association, he had called to see if she would be prepared to support a TV show with Writs being issued in her name. “Call The Bailiffs” is now Claire’s third TV project having been involved in the creation of “The Enforcers” on ITV, Can’t Pay? We’ll Take it Away”, for Channel 5, so the overall idea of filming what goes behind the enforcement scene was always supported by Claire.
Claire is now going into her fifth decade as an enforcement professional and with the Tv show, she wanted to educate people about what happens when the High Court issues a Writ in favour of a creditor and authorises High Court Enforcement Officers to enforce it. You will watch Claire emphasising that people should have faith in the High Court system and the law and should approach the court to help them recover what is owed to them. The UK law is very fair and will help people who have a judgment and need help with a piece of advice or enforcement. Claire also applauds her enforcement agents who were featured on various tv shows including Call The Bailiffs for their efforts.
They do a difficult job and are at the sharp end and they are courageous in what they do and how they handle people. So, this is one more reason why we wanted to do a tv show and present our agents and the remarkable job they do for the High Court Enforcement industry. Shergroup is always excited and looking forward to getting, you connected to people who can help you in running your business smoothly and get you on top of your game.
